About Us
CCNY's Pre-Veterinary Society aims to foster a close-knit community for aspiring veterinarians, allowing students to explore and familiarize themselves with different pathways in the field and help them attain the knowledge and experiences needed to move on to professional institutions. Our mission is to help provide connections to local animal clinics, shelters, and related organizations for career exploration as well to help members find internship, research, and shadowing opportunities to prepare them for success beyond the undergraduate level. We hope to further advance this through veterinarian speakers, informational sessions, and volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. All pre-veterinary students are welcome! However, we invite any student curious about animal care or in discovering other ways to serve this population. We ultimately strive to build a strong and supportive community for pre-vets on campus as we develop into the next generation of veterinary leaders!
