About Us

Vision Latina / LMSA is a CCNY undergraduate club that seeks to raise awareness towards the health disparities prevalent in the Hispanic/Latino cultural community in all aspects of medicine (availability of medical care, community awareness of medical issues, graduation rate of Hispanic/Latino medical students, low rates of practicing Latino/Hispanic medical professionals, etc.). We have joined forces with a national network of Hispanic medical students and we are also the CCNY chapter of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA). This served to provide our members with a large network of Latino medical students and various chapters from coast to coast. We hope to undertake a few volunteer initiatives within the surrounding Harlem community as well as work in conjunction with other Sophie Davis and CCNY clubs in educational and recreational events in this ensuing academic year. All club sanctioned activities are both legal and non-profit in nature.
