About Us
GSOE WIND's ultimate goal is to expose students across a wide range of disciplines, interests, and undergraduate majors to the possibilities of working in wind energy by developing a functional scaled offshore wind turbine. We will compete in the annual Collegiate Wind Competition held by the Department of Energy. This competition allows undergraduate students to gain experience in different fields in the wind industry such as turbine design and manufacturing, project development, finance, communications, and outreach.
