Mission The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) at CCNY is the student chapter of the professional organization. With more than 60,000 members across the globe, AIChE is the largest professional organization in the field of Chemical Engineering. Its 22 divisions and forums allow Chemical Engineers to find others that share the same work and passion. The mission of this student chapter is to establish a sense of community in the ChE department, provide professional development, and bridge the gap between academia and the industry. AIChE at CCNY aims to get their students involved in the AIChE regional and annual conferences, by participating in ChE Car, which uses the students' ChE knowledge practically.
