Mission
The Access Futures Club of The City College of New York, founded in 2012, is a club formed for the purpose of fostering a community among CCNY’s disabled students and disability rights advocates. We believe in creating awareness about the disabled community, actively giving back to the CCNY community, and creating a safe space for club members to engage in activities centered on DREAM. DREAM being the acronym for Disability, Rights, Education, Advocacy, and Mentorship.

Membership Benefits
The members learn how to be advocates. In addition members participate in activities that help them develop their leadership style. We organize fun and educational events.

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is the largest national association run by pre-medical and medical school students. AMSA's mission include educating students on essential topics that diverge from the traditional curricula, unifying physicians in training from across the country, and empowering students through advocacy initaitives. AMSA Sophie Davis has hosted several events such as the national fall AMSA conference, the annual Food Talk, and upcoming Bioethics Symposium. Through these events, AMSA Sophie Davis aims to improve the future of medicine through student involvement and education.

The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) is a national organization made of female physicians and medical students. The organization focuses on the advancement of women in medicine despite the many hardships and challenges women face on their road to a career in medicine. As an undergraduate chapter of AMWA at the City College of New York, we hope to keep AMWA’s national goals of health equity and excellence alive, along with providing a space for pre-med students on CCNY’s campus to come together and support each other through their medical journeys. We will also work with the graduate chapter of AMWA through the medical students in the CUNY School of Medicine. As a club, we hope to have events and meetings that promote the advancement of the females on our campus. This will be done through networking, social justice, and volunteering events like fundraising for Saving Mothers, a non-profit that provides birthing kits and medical care to mothers and midwives in Guatemala, Kenya, Uganda, and the Dominican Republic. We hope that you join or support in the fall of 2020!

Mission The mission of The Beaver Nation Network (BNN) Sports Marketing Club is to significantly improve the visibility of athletics on our campus as well as increasing school spirit and student engagement. Membership Benefits Marketing Club Objectives: 1) Promote CCNY Athletic Sporting Events throughout the campus (and the world) while engaging students and enhancing the overall student body experience. 2) The opportunity to bring people on campus from the marketing, advertising and communications professional community to mentor and network with our student group. 3) Allow students to gain experience in audio / visual skills as they relate to producing a live sporting event. 4) Allow students to gain experience operating video cameras and editing equipment for live events and post - event footage. 5) Allow students to gain experience in front of the camera as a game commentator and play-by- play sports broadcaster. 6) Allow students to gain experience as a Producer and/or as a Director of our live sporting events. 7) Create a Video / Television Network responsible for producing live game presentations, highlight videos and promotional videos. 8) Allow students to gain experience in creating marketing flyers and posters. 9) Allow students to gain experience in filming sporting events Goals BNN aims to provide experiences to our club members in a wide variety of positions in front of and behind the camera, including, but not limited to, audio / visual, video editing, videography, photography, social media, script writing, sports broadcasting, color commentating, and the creation of a variety of different promotional marketing materials. We also plan on incorporating area and national professionals in the fields mentioned above that will give our club members mentor-ship and networking opportunities.
