Dear City College of New York ,
I am writing to let you know of an exciting opportunity for underrepresented racial and ethnic minority students this summer (June 4-July 27, 2018) at NYU Steinhardt in the Department of Applied Psychology. It is an 8-week, commuter summer program for twelve rising seniors interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in applied psychology and closely related fields.
The program involves research mentorship, coursework, and professional development. This is at no cost to students. Students will be given a $5,000 stipend and a transportation card to cover expenses. The daily schedule requires that students live within commuting distance of the NYU campus for the duration of the program; housing at NYU is not available. For more detailed information, we invite you to visit our website https://wp.nyu.edu/ste
We need your help identifying students who would benefit from this program. Please forward this to qualified students who are interested and/or colleagues who might help spread the word. Encourage students to complete the application found on our website by January 15, 2018.
I am attaching an informational flyer and video that may be of interest to you. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!
Thanks so much, Anna Kreienberg Program Assistant Department of Applied Psychology |
