Professor Marie Della Thomas, an Advertising Billing Specialist, has had a remarkable career in Advertising. She started at Times Mirror Magazine, where she worked for a decade, and then moved to Disney Publishing worldwide in the Accounting Ad Services Department. With over 30 years of experience in Advertising Publishing, Marie launched her own company, Marie Della Thomas & Associates, to assist publishing houses in New York City, with Disney Publishing Worldwide as her first client. As a Billing Specialist in Advertising Services, Marie handled the Advertising billing for all four of their publications: Disney Magazine, Wonder Time, Family Fun, and Disney Adventures Magazine. Today, she performs evaluations and recommendations to create a more efficient billing cycle.

Her love of volunteer work, a passion she shares with many, has been a driving force in her career, and she has received several awards for her business acumen and commitment to empowering others. Marie is also a proud Graduate of Bronx Community College, where she earned an associate's degree in marketing management.

Marie's return to her alma mater, Baruch College Weissman Communication Studies Department, is a significant milestone. It is where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in corporate communication. Her academic achievements, including her role as a full-time faculty Lecturer, Professor Marie, teaching Business Communication Courses, Business Negotiations, and Professional Speech, are a testament to her dedication and expertise.

Marie Della Thomas is deeply committed to her students. She shares her life experiences as a businessperson to help them learn business strategies and encourage them to pursue their goals. Her objective is to equip her students with the necessary skills and tools for a bright, successful future in business.
