The primary purpose of this organization is to promote and educate about health and hockey. This organization will focus on the importance of exercise, a salubrious lifestyle, and other benefits of healthy choices by using sports, particularly hockey, as the medium to achieve this purpose. This club will utilize hockey as a binding agent to allow members of the City College community to meet new people, learn about hockey, develop the skills to play hockey, be able to eventually apply learned skills in exhibition matches, understand the importance of exercise and how hockey can be a realistic source of exercise, and most importantly, acquire better mental, physical, and emotional health.

Humanizing Homelessness
We aim to deteriorate the growing social stigma that surrounds homelessness in Harlem, and on a grander scale in America. Many people believe that those who are homeless have no motivation to better themselves and deserve their position in society. We, however, disagree and believe that not all homeless people deserve to be relegated to such a low standard. We want to give a voice to those who are voiceless, and more than anything else, desire to actively make a difference in our local community. We hope to garner support and increase our membership on the City College campus. Our aim is to provide students with an opportunity to give back to their community that is not only selfless but also enriching.

Young Democratic Socialists of America
Our mission is to educate and organize students and faculty, and to play a helpful and principled role in the movement for social, political, and economic justice. Within and throughout this struggle, we will articulate and defend the idea that true human liberation is impossible under capitalism. Our vision of socialism is uncompromisingly democratic, feminist, revolutionary, anti-imperialist, and anti-racist.
